Job Summary:**
As a Humungous EN (Enrolled Nurse) at Mecwa, you will be an essential member of our healthcare team, providing compassionate nursing care to our residents and clients. This role combines clinical expertise with a person-centered approach in delivering quality healthcare services in our aged care facilities.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established care plans and nursing procedures
* Monitor and record vital signs, medications, and patient conditions
* Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
* Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals in implementing care strategies
* Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
* Participate in resident assessments and care plan reviews
* Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
* Support and mentor junior staff and students

Required Qualifications:**
* Current Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in aged care or similar healthcare setting
* Valid medication endorsement
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Strong understanding of aged care standards and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and nights
* Demonstrated computer literacy and experience with electronic health records
* Physical capability to perform required duties
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Experience in dementia care (preferred)
